Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily field and office operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing field technicians, scheduling, logistics, inventory, equipment maintenance, and ensuring top-tier service delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of field teams, including scheduling, route optimization, and job quality assurance.
- Hire, train, and supervise technicians to ensure performance, safety, and service standards are met.
- Maintain and track equipment, vehicles, and inventory, coordinating repairs and purchases as needed.
- Implement and refine SOPs to streamline workflow, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
- Monitor job costs, labor efficiency, and KPIs to ensure profitability and productivity goals are met.
- Coordinate closely with sales and office teams to ensure smooth scheduling, customer communication, and follow-ups.
- Handle escalated customer service issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and help scale operations as the company grows.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a service-based or field service industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Technologically proficient—familiar with CRM systems, scheduling software, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with power washing equipment and fleet management.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and willingness to step into the field if necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in power washing, landscaping, HVAC, or another field service industry.
- Familiarity with customer service platforms like Jobber, ServiceTitan, or Housecall Pro.
