Job Overview

As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing workstations.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies needed for pizza preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Perform bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or cooking, is preferred.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various pizza styles and cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
