We’re currently looking to hire an experienced, highly capable House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a well-maintained, fully staffed private residence. This is a key role for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, works well within a fully staffed home, and has a strong background in private household management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Full oversight of the property and its systems to ensure smooth daily operation
- Managing household staff schedules and ensuring quality performance across all roles (housekeepers, landscapers, vendors, etc.)
- Coordinating regular maintenance, repairs, and vendor visits; acting as point of contact for all outside service providers
- Monitoring and maintaining household inventory, supplies, and seasonal needs
- Overseeing home organization projects and special requests
- Working closely with the Executive/Personal Assistant to align on calendars, events, home needs
- Supporting light event planning and execution for small-scale gatherings or hosting
- Ensuring home security protocols are followed and all systems are functional
- Running errands or assisting with occasional personal tasks when needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Has 5 years of experience managing private households at a high level
- Works well independently but communicates consistently with key team members
- Comfortable managing staff and vendors with professionalism and warmth
- Organized, resourceful, and tech-savvy (familiarity with smart home systems preferred)
- Discreet and trustworthy with excellent references
- Local to the area or with a reliable commute to Hidden Hills
