Job Summary:
As a Wholesale Account Executive, you ensure client satisfaction by serving as a Carrier Partner or Wholesale Partner advocate. You are passionate about creating a positive partner experience with our solutions and services. You focus on outlining cost-effective combinations of fiber-based services, point-to-point Ethernet connections, Internet access, Dark Fiber, Direct Internet Access solutions, and managed services that deliver on short-term goals while creating sustainable value for clients and demand for the future.
You influence the right people both inside and outside of Home Telecom to provide exceptional service and create long-term relationships with large and small carrier partners and wholesale sales channel opportunities. You have developed an ability to identify roadblocks and overcome obstacles to increase business while enhancing the client experience. You report directly to the Vice President of Sales for goals, guidance, and assistance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Be an impactful member of the sales team through the achievement of monthly revenue goals.
- Consult with prospective partners (wholesale and carrier) and develop tailored product solutions for their business needs.
- Cultivate and maintain key Carrier Sales and Wholesale relationships.
- Generate opportunities through persuasive sales calls, company visits, networking, identifying & responding to RFPs, and industry events.
- Entice clients by designing and delivering informative product proposals and presentations.
- Generate leads by building and maintaining relationships in the Carrier Sales, Wholesale, and MSP community.
- Effectively close deals through conversations and negotiations with C-level executives and Carrier & Wholesale Partners.
- Qualify leads through the submission of a return on investment (ROI) analysis and determine serviceability for prospects by requesting site surveys.
- Maintain quality service and encourage retention through coordinated efforts with the Account Management, Engineering, Sales Support, and Marketing teams.
- Accurately maintain client database to generate sales activity report and be the primary point of contact for our Automated Wholesale quote system, Connectbase.
- Influence senior leadership decisions by providing weekly reports on funnel, sales activity, and revenue forecasts.
