Full-Time Rotational Nanny (Every Other Week, $80–100K ) – Norfolk, CT
A warm and dynamic family in Norfolk, CT is seeking a full-time, live-out rotational nanny to care for their toddler (turning 2 in September) and newborn (born March 26). This role follows a Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM schedule every other week, rotating with another nanny. The ideal candidate is experienced, flexible, organized, and travel-ready. Must be comfortable with two medium-to-large non-shedding dogs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $30–$35/hour, approximately $80,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for both children, including feeding, naps, and daily routines
- Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities
- Light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, toy and play area tidying)
- Clean up after meals and snacks prepared for the children
- Light meal prep for the toddler; bonus if able to prepare meals for the family
- Coordinate and attend outings or playdates
- Support the mother and newborn during the day; engage both children in the morning
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years professional childcare experience
- 3–5 professional childcare references
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be passport-ready and willing to travel frequently, including overseas
- Valid driver's license (vehicle not provided, potential mileage/gas reimbursement)
- Regular travel to the family’s second home in New York City
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Newborn experience required
- Up-to-date on standard vaccinations (Tdap, Covid, Flu)
- Comfortable with dogs
- Highly organized and adaptable to changing schedules
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bonus if able to swim
- Ideal candidate is warm, calm, confident with boundaries, and blends seamlessly into a busy household
