A family in Somerville, MA, is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their two children, ages 2 years and 8 months. This is a long-term position as both parents are returning to work. The ideal candidate should be patient, proactive, and attentive.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Total Hours: 30 hours per week (plus additional weekend hours in summer)
- Summer Schedule: Same weekdays, plus 5-6 extra hours on weekends every two weeks (paid overtime)

Responsibilities:
- Engage the children with age-appropriate activities
- Focus primarily on childcare, with some light housekeeping & kids’ laundry

- No driving required
Qualifications:
- Must have U.S. work authorization
- Must provide 3-5 professional references
- Comfortable working in a home with two cats (they can be kept in a separate space)
- 2-4 years as a nanny in a private home
