Houseman/Maintenance

Job Description:
As a Houseman/Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, as well as performing basic maintenance and repairs to keep our facilities running smoothly. This dual-role requires attention to detail, excellent time management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Houseman Duties:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed.
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist with laundry services when needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Maintenance Duties:

• Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure all systems operate efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas.
• Report and address any safety hazards or facility issues immediately.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance problems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
• Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
