Summary
As the Executive Housekeeper at Home2 Suites by Hilton, you will oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and service excellence that align with our mission to provide an exceptional stay for every guest. The role reports directly to the General Manager, and will have an inspector to assist on their days off.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to uphold quality standards.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on best practices in cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of linen, cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate services that enhance the overall guest experience, stay scores as wel as inspections by county and brand.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
- Preform roles within the housekeeping department when the need arises
- Manage schedule, documentations and assist with hiring and termination.
- Preforms all other duties as assigned by th General Manager
Qualifications
- Open and flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in hotel operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high cleanliness standards are met consistently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with guests and team members alike.
- Familiarity with hospitality software or property management systems is a plus.
