Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, including billing information and special requests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
- Operate phone systems to handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest accounts and reservations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
