We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping Team! Our Home2 Suites by Hilton, a 124 all -suites hotel, is located off University Boulevard, a short walk from dining and five minutes from The University of Central Florida. Addition Financial Arena, FBC Mortgage Stadium, and Blanchard Park are within three miles. Our guests enjoy our in-suite kitchens, outdoor saline pool, and fitness center, featuring a Peloton® Bike with toe cages. Hot complimentary daily breakfast is offered to all our guests. The Home2 Suites-UCF is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Job Details: This position is full time and is a dual role. To supervise and inspect rooms 2-3 days per week and work as Room Attendant 2-3 days a week, depending on occupancy. Rate of Pay: Housekeeping Supervisor $18.00 per hour, and when working as Room Attendant; $16.00 per hour

Housekeeping Supervisor: supervises housekeeping staff and inspects hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobbies by performing the following duties.

• • Maintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.
  • Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
  • Trains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed.
  • In absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision.
  • Cleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
  • Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.

Room Attendant: will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites.

• • Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
  • Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
  • Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
  • Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.

What You Bring:

Previous experience in a hotel houskeeping setting, with supervisory experience. Excellent customer service skills. Able to work alone or as part of a team. Ability to work on feet for extended periods. Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
