Maitenance Technician

The Home2 Suites by Hilton Youngstown is hiring full-time & part-time Maintenance Personnel that will go above and beyond for our guests! This position includes day and evening shifts, weekdays & weekend availability. Pay is based upon experience.

• Maintains the physical facilities through a structured program of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repair maintenance.
• Groundskeeper ensures daily hotel work orders are completed in a timely manner to ensure total hotel guest satisfaction.
• Ensure pool chemistry and temperature is in accordance to current health department standards.
• Ensures the safety and security of the hotel grounds and building.
• Maintains the hotel grounds and landscaping in neat and an attractive manner.
• Ensures timely snow removal and the safety of walkways and parking lots.
• Empties trash and recycling bins throughout the hotel, and takes trash to outside dumpster

Hotel Maintenance Job Qualifications:

• Open schedule availability required; Ability to be on call.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, vendors, supervisor and associates.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Pushing, pulling, bending, upward reaching.
• Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Smile and provide a pleasant place for our guests.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Hotel experience preferred, but is not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
