We are seeking areliable and responsible part-time driverto assist with transporting children to and from our centers and other appointments.
- 7D License is required for the position. Homebase Behavior Consulting will assist the right applicants in obtaining a 7D license and will cover the costs affiliated in getting licensure.**
- Safely transport children between homes, centers, schools, or community locations
- Ensure clients are secured safely in the vehicle following child safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized van and report any maintenance needs
- Coordinate with the center coordinator regarding daily schedules and routes
- Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs and maintain open communication with parents/guardians
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws
- High School Diploma/G.E.D
- Experience: prior experience transporting children (preferred)
- Driver’s License: Valid MA driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Safety-Oriented: Familiar with child safety seat requirements and proper use of safety belts
- Clear Background: Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle records check
- Availability: Must be able to commit to the 15-20 hour weekly schedule, with flexibility for mornings and afternoons
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Familiarity with GPS devices and driving in Boylston and Fitchburg area
- Hourly Rate: $18-$20 per hour
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
