We provide a range of home delivery and final mile logistics solutions for world-class retailers of furniture and appliances. We are currently in need of an Assistant Delivery Operations Manager to oversee one of our high end furniture home delivery operations in the Commerce City, CO area. This leader will help oversee and recruit our network of independent home delivery contract carriers, partner and interact with our clients, and make sure that each and every delivery customer has an amazing delivery experience. Skills used include computer-based routing system knowledge, MS Office applications, verifiable customer service excellence, above-average verbal and electronic communication skills, adherence to established processes, and process development ability.
- Required 2* year *experience in 3PL or related logistics field.
- Excellent organization and critical thinking skills required
- Strong Oral and Verbal communication skills required
- Ability to positively motivate others in the work environment
- Multi-tasking ability in a fast paced environment
- Ability to produce and execute development plans for several direct reports
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- DOT and Federal regulations knowledge
- Experience resolving In-home damage and merchandise claims
- Spanish speaking is a big plus
Flexibility of schedule is required. Weekends and early morning shifts are required.
Candidates with home delivery experience and a professional network in the Colorado contract carrier community preferred, but not a requirement.
