Job Description
The Organizational Talent Strategist will oversee the daily operations of our Human Resources department, implementing strategies and policies set forth by our Chief People Officer (CPO). This role is critical in ensuring effective talent management, employee engagement, and compliance with HR best practices.
This position will lead a team of HR professionals, including a Human Resources Generalist and two Talent Acquisition Specialists. The Strategist will work closely with the CPO to align HR initiatives with HomeFront's mission, goals, and objectives.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing HR strategies and policies aligned with HomeFront's mission and goals
• Providing guidance and support to HR staff members on HR-related matters
• Coordinating and facilitating training programs and events for employees
• Conducting research and analysis to inform HR decisions and recommendations
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to HR activities
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including at least 3 years in a management role
• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and related HR analytics
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working in a non-profit Human Resources setting
• Active HR professional certifications (SHRM, PHR) preferred
