Nurse Practitioner

Wound care company that is experiencing growth in both patients and location.

Our organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the treatment of wounds. The ideal candidate will be experienced in wound care and be able to assist in the day-to-day management and assessment of wounds. The successful candidate will also need to work with other members of our team, including doctors and patients, to determine the best course of action for treating each wound.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders.
• Diagnose medical conditions and order medical tests.
• Provide physical therapy and/or rehabilitation.
• Prescribe medications related to their specialty.
• Prescribe antibiotics and other medications in accordance with state regulations.
• Manage patient medical records; Administer vaccinations.
• Operate diagnostic equipment for testing purposes.
• Counsel patients about their illnesses.
• Assist in the treatment of patients with contagious diseases.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification
• Proficient in patient assessment and care, including medication administration and wound care
• Experience with catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding
• Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic and Cerner
• Knowledge of physiology and critical care, with premium skills in gastroenterology and clinical research
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including children and individuals with developmental disabilities

Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
