We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises, including access points, to ensure security measures are in place.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities and maintain records of incidents.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Proficiency in operating surveillance systems (CCTV) and other security technologies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and techniques.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
