Who You Are
HomeLight is looking for a Lender Relationship Manager (LRM) to support our Buy Before You Sell (BBYS) product by building strong relationships with Loan Officers and ensuring a smooth transaction process for clients. This role is a blend of sales, customer service, and account management, requiring someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and has strong communication skills over phone and email.
The ideal candidate has a background in real estate or mortgage lending and understands how to work with Loan Officers, mortgage processes, and real estate transactions. This role is sales-driven with elements of account management, ensuring Loan Officers and their clients receive exceptional support throughout the process.
What You’ll do Here

- Engage with Loan Officers (LO) once a client expresses interest in BBYS, answering questions, guiding them through the process, and gathering key details.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Loan Officers, ensuring they have all necessary information to keep transactions moving forward.
- Provide clear and timely communication via phone and email to maintain strong relationships with lender partners.
- Ensure that conditional approvals are provided within one business day. Walkthrough the approval with the LO. Afterward, send the contract via DocuSign to be signed.
- Support deals where customers have already submitted an offer and are actively buying another home.
- Chase down missing information (e.g., missing property photos, additional borrower details).
- Confirm all required documents are received, such as:
- BBYS agreement signed
- Copy of the purchase agreement for the incoming residence
- Clearly explain the BBYS program timeline to partners:
- 21 days to list the home
- 120 days to sell
- Manage a pipeline of 100-150 files per month.
- Work within team pods to ensure efficient workflows and strong collaboration.
What You Bring
- Real Estate & Mortgage Knowledge: 4-plus years of experience as a Loan Officer or as a Real Estate Agent.
- Fast-Paced & Organized: You can juggle multiple files and follow-ups while keeping everything moving smoothly.
- Strong Communicator: Comfortable engaging with Loan Officers over phone and email to ensure a seamless experience.
- Detail-Oriented: You know how to track missing documents and ensure every file is complete.
