Administrative Assistant
Position: Administrative Assistant – Full Time
Department: Homer Industries, LLC.
Job Summary: The Front Office Assistant is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, informing customers of products/services offered, handling incoming calls, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the front office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a positive and professional attitude.
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
- Provide a wide variety of administrative support to multiple managers and departments.
- Ability to handle various administrative duties such as answering telephones, taking messages, filing, order entry and point of sale transactions.
- Operate office equipment such as computers, copiers and phone systems.
- Develop customer knowledge base and relationships with all customers. Must understand and abide by various customer requirements.
Qualifications & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective level of oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new programs quickly.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail
- Flexible daytime hours and Saturday’s when needed
- High School degree.
