Overview
Homes for Independent Living (HIL), a MyPath Company, is a 100% Employee Owned company providing specialized services and dignified care for adults with disabilities and other challenges. As an Employee Owner, the Talent Acquisition Director (TAD) plays a critical role in impacting the lives of our clients by providing visionary leadership for our Recruitment Function. The Talent Acquisition Director (TAD) leads and supports a team of recruiting professionals responsible for managing hiring processes across all position levels for operations in 12 Wisconsin counties. Primary duties of the Talent Acquisition Director (TAD) include:
- Develops a high performing team to support all recruiting functions in alignment with HIL’s business needs through creating the optimum department structure and maximizing the talent of department staff.
- Provide premium service for our operations staff and to job seekers by ensuring an excellent applicant experience and exceptional customer service to operations staff.
- Monitor outcomes through performance metrics and pursues continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership in collaborative planning efforts with various stakeholders including department staff, operations leaders, and our parent company.
- Cultivate effective communication within the team and across company departments to optimize implementation of business efforts.
- Contribute to the fiscal wellbeing and growth readiness of the Company by establishing our ability to attract qualified talent.
The Talent Acquisition Director (TAD) reports to the Executive Director of HIL. In addition to this reporting relationship, this role will be expected to foster strong collaboration towards mutual goals across various departments within HIL and its parent company, MyPath.
Qualified individuals must possess five (5) years of work experience in most of the following HR disciplines: recruitment, retention, onboarding, performance management and equal opportunity employment plus five (5) years of supervisory experience. Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field. As a strategic leader, this role requires one or more of the following: proven experience in leading change, successful implementation of organization-wide processes, demonstrated experience in establishing department, service, and/or performance metrics; success at coaching, mentoring and developing staff; experience with multi-site operations; planning and developing strategy. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs, must possess a high level of initiative and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
