Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and creative Stage Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the production team during various stages of design and execution. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for stagecraft, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Stage Assistant will assist in the planning and implementation of stage designs, ensuring that all elements come together seamlessly for successful productions.
Duties
- Collaborate with the production team to assist in the design and setup of stage elements.
- Assist in budgeting for stage materials and resources, ensuring projects remain within financial constraints.
- Apply knowledge of color theory and lighting design to enhance the visual impact of productions.
- Participate in remodeling efforts as needed to adapt stage setups for different performances.
- Support the installation and maintenance of lighting and sound equipment during rehearsals and performances.
- Help with logistical tasks, including transporting materials and setting up stage props.
- Attend production meetings to provide input on design concepts and execution strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in design software such as 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Strong understanding of budgeting principles related to production design.
- Knowledge of color theory and lighting design principles is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in stage production or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
