What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Coordinator position at Homestead Campground?
We are seeking an energetic, professional to support administrative and customer service needs of a busy campground. The ideal candidate will need to be personable and able to communicate clearly and effectively. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be able to take inititive, have attention to detail, remain calm and able to return to tasks when interrupted.
In the off season(October to April) hours are Monday to Friday. During the season (May 1st to September 30th days and hours will vary and will include weekends based on events and business needs.

Essential Functions: Perform administrative tasks as related to daily operations to ensure efficiency and enhance value of property. Process payments, answer phones, maintain tenant information, accurate record keeping and required reporting. Ensure property standards are met and maintained by following company policies and procedures. Build associate, customer, and community relations that support the operation and growth of the business.
Administration
o Understand and remain up to date on company policies and procedures, state and local statutes and regulations
o Understand and explain lease agreements to prospective and current tenants
o Be familiar with and explain campground rates, sites, amenities, local attractions to current and prospective customers
o Represent company interests in a professional manner at all times
o Enter financial and payment information in system in compliance with all federal, state, and local statutes and regulations
o Manage reservations in all property management software systems
o Maintain accurate records, reports and filing system for all documents including but not limited to tenant/lease files in compliance with all federal, state, and local statutes and regulations
o Submit accurate reporting and requests to bookkeeping office for all accounting needs
o Communicate with management and other office staff at the end of each day regarding status of calls, tenant questions, maintenance issues, etc.
Customer Service
o Represent and further brand recognition in the community
o Provide consistent high-quality customer service with a positive attitude, treating all customers professionally
o Respond to tenant concerns and requests in a professional and timely manner to ensure tenant retention
Report to General Manager in a timely manner
o Any written or verbal tenant disputes that have the potential to become escalated legal issues
o Community issues or concerns presented by tenants or observed by staff
Physical Demands
o Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40lbs
o Must be able to stand, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and twist repetitively
o Must be able to stand or sit continuously for long periods
o Must be able to tolerate climate changes
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o High School diploma or GED
o Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization and be a business partner with management
o Ability to communicate professionally and clearly
o Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
o Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality of employee and company information
o Must be proficient in Computer use and applications
o Attention to detail and accuracy
- Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
