We are currently looking for a professional individual to fill the role of IT Technician. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of computer workstations and associated software within the organization. The IT Technician will also be the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing computer issues. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an established organization.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responds to user requests for assistance with hardware and software issues
· Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
· Provide guidance and training, as required, to assist employees in the use of computer programs and computer operations
· Setup, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. Includes LAN, WAN, and server systems
· Perform move/add/change for computer/LAN and phone systems
· Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
· Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and groups
· Coordinate with third-party corporate vendors as needed
· Order IT equipment as needed via corporate vendor
· Performs above IT tasks at Level 1 and 2 support complexity
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· AAS degree in Technology or equivalent technical certifications preferred 1-3 years’ experience in end user computing support
· A positive and cooperative attitude. Ability to interact effectively, with courtesy and respect towards fellow employees and vendors
· Knowledge of computer hardware and software support techniques
· A working knowledge of the current Microsoft Windows Desktop, Server, Office 365, Azure AD, LAN/WAN, IP
· Mortgage industry experience beneficial
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Well-developed multi-tasking and organizational skills
· Capacity to learn new software, hardware systems
· Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, with short notice
· Willingness & ability to work overtime during peak periods
Once the individual is fully trained, they will be granted the opportunity to work a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days in the office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.20 - $26.45 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
