A Senior Living Facility in the Madison Heights area is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team. This vital role involves serving as the first point of contact for our residents, offering exceptional customer service, and enhancing their daily experience. Responsibilities include providing personalized assistance, ensuring resident safety, and fostering a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of discretion and care.
The hours are 2pm-10pm, every other weekend is required
Responsibilities
- Tasks and Responsibilities
- Answer multi-line telephone, screen and direct calls, take and relay messages, provide information to callers
- Assist management in a number of projects
- Give tours to potential clients and families
- Direct individuals to correct destination, deal with queries from the public and clients
- Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
- General administrative and clerical support
- Prepare letters and documents, receive, sort, and distribute mail, maintain office filing and organize meetings
- Tidy and maintain the reception area
- Research vendors for cost effective suppliers

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be 18 years old
- Problem solving skills and critical thinking
- Strong knowledge of word, excel, calculator, copier, fax, and postage machine
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practice
- A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift
- Able to work every other weekend
