Who You Are
Hometap is seeking a data-driven and strategic Senior Product Manager to own key elements of the user experience for homeowners seeking to access their home equity. Reporting to the Product Director of Home Equity Investing, you'll work closely with Sales, Investment Operations, Engineering, Design, and Data to balance funnel conversion, decision quality, and team efficiency while maintaining a best-in-class experience for homeowners. You are passionate about understanding customer needs and are eager to create scalable solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
You will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of user behavior, and a track record of implementing successful growth strategies. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to achieve ambitious goals.
What You'll Do
- Act as the product owner for Hometap's authentication, identity verification and fraud prevention workflows
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative market and user research to advocate for solutions that ensure staff efficiency while reducing Hometap's exposure to fraud
- Establish yourself as a knowledgeable internal resource on the vendors and capabilities that serve our space
- Work closely with other Product team members to ensure the overall health of our process and systems
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design to conceptualize and deliver new features
- Iterate on our staff and homeowner experiences, with an eye towards funnel economics and customer satisfaction
- Test and scale each delivery with data analysis, A / B testing, phased rollouts, and user research
- Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs, analyze user behavior, and surface actionable insights regularly
- Communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership
