What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Automotive Parts Delivery Driver position at Hometown Auto Parts, LLC?
NAPA Auto Parts (Hometown Auto Parts) delivery drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customer service and developing long standing relationships with our customers. We are a family owned/operated company and work as a family style atmosphere.
Primary job functions:
The primary functions of this position are to establish and maintain good relationships with NAPA customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. This person must also check invoices to ensure that the parts ordered were correctly pulled for delivery to customer.
Secondary job functions:
Some secondary functions are assisting with checking in stock orders, stocking shelves and cleaning of the delivery vehicles and the store.
Personal Requirements:
Able to establish good relationships with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service. Must be well-groomed and neat in appearance. Enjoy working with people in a fast paced setting; be competitive yet have the ability to work calmly under pressure. Possess a clear and valid drivers license with no DWI, DUI convictions within the last 5 years. Must be 22 years of age for insurance requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds. Able to bend or stoop to floor level shelves. Able to stand and walk for entire shift. Able to speak clearly and listen attentively.
