What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Automotive Parts Professional/ Counter person position at Hometown Auto Parts, NAPA?
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Professional Counter Person at our Napa Auto Parts store. We are a family owned/operated company and create family style atmospheres within our company.
Primary job Functions:
The primary function of this position is to provide prompt and courteous service to all NAPA customers over the phone, in the store, or in the customers shop. This person must be able to look up the parts application in the NAPA parts catalogs or in TAMS. The counterperson must process orders for customers with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and courtesy. He/She will be required to assist and advise customers in determining how to best meet their needs, often dealing with questions and problems. This person will have direct contact with customers and therefore, neatness in personal appearance and the ability to establish and maintain good customer relations in a professional manner is a must. The person must enjoy working with people in a fast paced setting, be competitive, yet have the ability to work calmly under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to use computers, as well as credit card machines. Visually capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers and their sequencing. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Able to work on feet, stand and walk, for entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
