What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Assistant position at Hometown Bank of Corbin Inc?
The Finance Assistant is a bookkeeping style position. This individual is responsible for balancing company accounts and teller transactions as well as track and monitor fixed assets and file monthly state income / use tax reports. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for paying bills that the company incurs as well as employee expense reports. Other finance related duties also apply to this position. Applicants require some accounting or finance background experience, experience in a finance institution is a plus.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or related field and/or
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a financial institution operation
- Some Accounting / Finance knowledge is a must
- Background in financial institution operating procedures a plus
