Your Main Responsibilities will include:
- Patient-Centered Care: Ensure every patient feels valued and cared for from the moment they walk in.
- Efficient Appointment Management: Keep our schedule running smoothly by scheduling appointments and managing the calendar effectively.
- Exceptional Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, verifying insurance information, and assisting with administrative tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with optometrists and colleagues to deliver seamless care and support.
Other responsibilities:
- Collecting and scanning all patient paperwork into our EMR
- Collecting patient exam copayments and payments
- Answering and returning patients calls and messages
- Calling patients to inform them that materials are ready for pick up
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Faxing, copying, stocking and maintaining office supplies
- Taking patient contact lens orders over the phone
- Preparing statements or invoices for patients.
- Triaging patient concerns and relaying the information accurately
- Collecting referrals from local medical facilities and providers
