Hometown Occupational Medicine is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance and grow our program in Middle GA.
Must be licensed and certified by the State of GA. DOT Medical Examiner Certification preferred.
This is a fast paced practice, perfect for someone who is energetic and motivated. Facility hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. No weekends and no call!
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will participate in business development and work directly with local businesses and industries to help promote safety in the workplace.
Ideal candidate will thrive in a productive, cohesive and fast paced practice focused on patient and employer access, quality and satisfaction.
This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your skills in work related injuries, illnesses, treatment and outcomes. You will conduct workplace visits; provide acute injury care, perform DOT physical exams, perform post-offer and periodic physical exams, complete fitness for duty and return to work exams, and be well versed in OSHA compliance.
Computer literacy is a requirement. Must be comfortable and proficient in using the electronic medical record system and communicating electronically. It is essential that the physician be timely in completing medical records.
