Job Title: Laundry Attendant
Department: Housekeeping
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
Summary:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and storing all hotel linens and guest laundry. This includes sorting laundry by type, color, and fabric; loading and unloading washers and dryers; and operating various laundry equipment. The Laundry Attendant must also maintain the cleanliness of the laundry area and keep records of all laundry processed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, fold, and store all hotel linens and guest laundry.
- Sort laundry by type, color, and fabric.
- Load and unload washers and dryers.
- Operate various laundry equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry area.
- Keep records of all laundry processed.
- Identify and remove stains from laundry.
- Repair minor tears and holes in laundry.
- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints.
- Follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a laundry or housekeeping setting prefered, but not necessary
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures preffered
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
