Job Title: Breakfast Attendant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities range from, but are not limited to the following:
- Setting up and breaking down the breakfast arrangements in accordance with franchise standards.
- Following health department regulations as it relates to the breakfast, including proper cleaning procedures and food storage/safety.
- Ensuring the breakfast areas are attractively set up, clean, and hygienic.
- Replenishing silverware, paper goods, sugar caddies, condiments, etc.
- Light to moderate food preparation.
- Refilling beverage containers.
- Wiping down the breakfast area countertops, tabletops, and seats. Ensuring all debris and food remnants are removed. Ensuring all surfaces is clean.
- Mopping and sweeping the floor.
- Removing trash. Taking trash to dumpster.
- Providing consistently extraordinary customer service. Breakfast attendants are expected to continuously walk around smiling and making sure all our guests feel welcome and appreciated.
- Answering guest’s inquiries pertaining to hotel services and amenities, area shopping, events, entertainment, directions, etc.
- Must follow company and franchise standards and policies.
- Special projects and other duties may be assigned by management.
Computer Skills
- Computer skills are not necessary for this position.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and speak English language and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively communicate professionally with guests, associate, supervisors, and others as required for optimum operation to the property. Conversational Spanish would be beneficial.
Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Ability to effectively organize multiple projects; manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Attendance/Punctuality
- Is consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent, arrives at meeting and appointments on time.

Scheduling & Transportation Requirements:
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- There is no minimum guarantee on the number of hours a Breakfast Attendant will work per day or per week. Breakfast Attendants are scheduled based on demand, season, and special events. Hours can significantly fluctuate from season to season.
- Employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from work.
