Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. The Night Auditor will be responsible for managing front desk operations, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of guest relations. We are also seeking a person that has work availability to work during second shift hours. Those hours are 3-11pm. The person must have availability to work on weekends.
Duties
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs of guests.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and front desk systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
