Job Responsibilities
The role of a Room Attendant is to provide clean accommodations for each guest during their stay. This is done by following all cleaning procedures, and having an attention to detail, energy, and passion for housekeeping.
Your responsibilities are diverse in nature and include, but are not limited to:
- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, changing and arranging towels, restocking guest supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging the room after guests depart
- Report and return any guest items found in the room upon departure
- Work with a team of housekeepers each shift
- Clean, disinfect, and store equipment at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning and floor care within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of housekeeping management practices
- Familiarity with janitorial and industrial cleaning techniques
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Previous custodial experience is a plus
