Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering stock as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Participate in promotional events or special occasions to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or bartending within a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- A passion for hospitality and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be of legal drinking age according to state regulations.
