Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant dining environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring that guests enjoy their experience at our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations on drink selections.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for banquets and catering events.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the bar area.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or upscale food service environments.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Familiarity with the food industry standards and practices.
- Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
