HB Wealth is in search of a Financial Advisor to join our growing team. The Financial Advisor position carries out planning, analysis, investment, and other decisions that affect client relationships, consulting with the Sr. Financial Advisor/Sr. Relationship Advisor and Sr. Planner on complex decisions as needed.
How the Financial Advisor contributes to the success of HB:
General Support
- Leverages the time and expertise of Sr. Financial Advisors by assisting them and at times replacing them in the execution of steps in the client service process.
- Maintains internal systems with up-to-date client data, areas of priority and activities.
- Trains, coaches, and/or mentors Analysts and Associate Advisors.
- Contributes to the Advisory Team’s initiatives of increased efficiency, quality, and control through system training, enhancement, and process improvement.
- Grows existing client relationships by adding more assets under management, identifying opportunities for additional services, and seeking referrals.
Advisory
- Coordinates relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients by working with and supervising the work of Analysts, Associate Advisors, and Sr./ Client Service Administrators.
- Prepares and updates financial plans, working with clients to obtain the necessary information and ensuring that it is accurately entered into the firm’s financial planning systems.
- Works with Sr. Financial Advisors and Sr. Planners to discuss, develop and implement financial planning techniques and recommendations.
- Leads or participates in client meetings and adds value to meetings by delivering presentations, facilitating discussions, and preparing information.
- Creates custom worksheets and analyses where needed to answer client questions or research planning topics.
- Oversees the transfer of client assets to the firm during new client onboarding, working closely with the Onboarding Coordinator.
- Assists in the development of the asset allocation strategies and on-going portfolio management and works with the Portfolio Managers to implement.
- Serves as client’s “financial quarterback” by advising on topics such as investments, retirement, cash flow, taxes, debt, charitable endeavors, education planning, insurance, and estate planning.
- Works proactively with clients’ external service team, including accountants and attorneys, to meet client goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (required).
- Series 65 securities license; CFP and/or CFA preferred
- 5-10 years of relevant industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting client relationships
- Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with financial planning, CRM, and Portfolio reporting software
- Demonstrated progress toward a Professional designation (ex. CFA, CFP, MBA)
