Job Purpose

Our team coordinates and facilitates a variety of HR initiatives to support our associates so we can continue to build high quality products that contribute to the power of the Honda Brand!
Key Accountabilities
- Lead daily management of team that provides Local HR services.
- Lead and guide in the area of Labor Relations in order to maintain union free status. Train and mentor HR Partners as well as current and future HDMA leaders.
- Assist in the development of human resource policies.
- Research HR emerging issues and trends to inform strategic business decision and HR strategy as it relates to key areas of responsibility.
- Partner with Business HR Team on communication and facilitation of company level initiatives as appropriate such as Regional Compensation and Promotions, Performance Management, etc with Department Leads.
- Lead as a strategic business partner regarding HR business plan initiatives or themes.
- Manage key projects and support as assigned.
- Advise on and coordinate regarding Exempt and Non-Exempt associates' adherence to company policies and procedures with exit interviews, leave of absence, etc.
- Manage and support frontline leader movement process and evaluating documentation to ensure aligning with company policies, budgets, etc.
- Support Legal team as needed.
