What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Support Staff I - Transmission Plant Russells Point position at Honda?
Job Purpose
Conformation of parts to meet drawing specifications and standards using several types of inspection technics including automated and hand gauges. This action is geared towards reducing scrap parts and sending suspect, direct pass, defective parts to our customer.
Key Accountabilities
- Confirm parts per specifications using assorted styles of gauges and CMM.
- Documentation: accurately record inspection results and review data in AIS. (Learn and use Automated Inspection System. (AIS))
- Communicate all pertinent information to the next shift as well as receive information from previous shift.
- Work with other staff when needed.
- Support daily C.O.P. (clean, organize & pick-up) activity
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
Other Job-Specific Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work with other team members.
- Self-motivated
- Ability to manage time and multi-task
- Machining and or tooling knowledge
Working Conditions
- Perform inspections standing for 8 hours.
- Daily, Weekly, and holiday overtime as required.
- No travel requirements.
