Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by helping to clear tables and reset them for new guests.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and ingredients, to provide accurate information to guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests or modifications.
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Utilize the POS system for tracking orders and assisting with any necessary adjustments.
- Foster positive guest relations through friendly interactions and attentive service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and carry trays of food or beverages.
