We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our 100,000 square foot facility. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of all equipment and systems, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of various maintenance disciplines.
JOB SUMMARY
Facilitates or performs work necessary to keep HoneyTree’s production machinery and production equipment operational and facilities in good repair. Manages 2 to 4 maintenance workers and tasks. Prepares plans and documents related to maintenance activities. Reports food safety and quality issues to supervision/management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Trains, supports, and assigns tasks to Maintenance Workers.
Plans and manages maintenance projects and tasks.
Documents plans, costs, and results in reports or Excel spreadsheets.
Schedules and facilitates contractor projects.
Schedules, logs, tracks, and documents maintenance work, PMs, and costs.
Estimate facility and equipment repair costs.
Prioritizes and distributes work orders.
Plans with other departments to minimize disruptions caused by maintenance work.
Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.
Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogues and suppliers.
Diagnoses mechanical problems and how to correct them, using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogues as necessary.
Maintains inventory of parts and equipment.
Enforces food safety and quality policies.
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to make a diagnosis and repairs.
Recommends plant improvements based on repair frequency data.
Attends monthly safety meetings.
Attends monthly quality meetings.
Maintains safety and cleanliness of maintenance room and work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be available during off hours and on weekends, as required.
