Honeywell's Legal Department is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel that will focus on government contracts compliance and serve the interests of the corporation. You will provide advice to all five uniquely diverse businesses across Honeywell engaged in various government contracting types. You will be responsible for deciding on the most appropriate responses to legal advice requests from business leaders and other functions.
You will report directly to our VP General Counsel of Compliance, and you’ll work out of either our Charlotte, NC or Washington, DC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, and implement a risk management process for government contracts compliance for all Honeywell businesses.
- Advise on regulations related to government contracts compliance, including updating relevant stakeholders on the significance of any changes.
- Lead investigations related to government contracts, including mandatory disclosures.
- Provide relevant training to the workforce on government contracts obligations.
- Lead M&A due diligence and integration related to government contracts compliance.
- Serve as a key member of the Compliance Center of Excellence Leadership team.
