Cabin Pressure Systems Engineer
Requirements Management:
· Customer technical requirements management using formal tracking systems, (DOORS, PTS, Clearcase).
· Requirement implementation into Honeywell controls system documents.
· Attend / moderate design peer reviews and implement / validate requirement changes, (iaw IPDS AP-1235).
· Manage the build and test of development test equipment and hardware in formal configuration control, (PDM).
Test Integration:
· Experience in HW/SW design, Test equipment design, HW/SW integration and test.
· Closed loop testing, circuit analysis, circuit troubleshoot and RCCA
· Write test cases and procedure/scripts for requirement validation, (Python).
· Perform validation tests and write analysis reports, (HMATS).
· Validate development SW packages and modifications to customer requirements.
· Integrate system level test equipment , electronic/mechanical hardware and software.
Model Based Development:
· Basic understanding of model based development tools, (HAM, Beacon).
· Able to generate basic control models and simulations, (MatLab/Simulink).
· Able to understand and run advanced model simulations.
Engineering Documentation / Process:
· Familiarity with basic engineering development process (IPDS per AP-1235 or equiv).
· Able to independently write technical documents (qualification documents, design review material, acceptance test reports, etc).
· Able to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, interface drawings an drawing trees, (PDM).
· Familiarity with PDM ECR/ECO initiation and review process.
· Able to define and estimate System Engineering tasks needed to support efforts associated with new programs/scope changes.
General:
· Familiarity with aerospace industry specifications, (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754, ARP4761, Mil-spec).
· Familiarity with FAA and other aircraft certification processes, (FAR Part 23, 25).
· Understanding of Aircraft Cabin Pressure and/or Environmental Control Systems.
· Interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional disciplines as well as suppliers, vendors, and customers.
· Understanding of System Safety Analysis and Functional Hazard Assessment.
