What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Alarm Operator Technician position at honeywell?
The Fire Alarm Operator here at Honeywell will be responsible for monitoring our customers’ fire alarm systems via our EBI (Enterprise Business Intelligence) computer software. They will be tasked with conducting impairments for work being performed onsite, working closely with the site EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Department as well as the emergency response team.
This role is based in the Princeton, NJ area with regular working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There is an opportunity for overtime and career progression.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches.
- Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer
- Program EBI’s (Honeywell Enterprise Building Integrator Frontend)
- Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations.
- Proper use of safety personal protection equipment
- Security and other clearances as required by customer
