Job Title: Machine Operator Level 2
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator Level 2 to join our team at Honeywell. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be accountable for operating and maintaining various machines in our manufacturing facility.
As a Machine Operator Level 2, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. Your responsibilities will include operating and monitoring machines, conducting quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Work: You will work an 8-hour shift, except on Saturdays when you will work 12 hours (12am-12pm or 8pm-12am). You will have two Saturdays off per month.
- Safety Focus: We expect you to work safely and independently with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Policy Compliance: You must comply with and maintain ISO/Safety/cGMP policies/procedures for the area.
- Machine Operation: You will run Extrusion lines/machines and train on Extruders, pelletizers, and recycle machines.
- Packaging and Shipping: You will pack and ship orders efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: You will operate a fork truck and other mobile equipment as needed.
- Problem Solving: You will achieve results in a team-based, Six Sigma environment.
- Additional Duties: You will perform other duties as defined by your Supervisor and/or Manager.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting, Pushing, or Pulling: You will be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
- Standing Time: You will be able to stand for up to 7 hours per shift.
- Rotating Shifts: You will be willing to work a set shift with rotating days off.
Requirements:
- US Person Requirements: Due to US export control laws, you must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status.
This role is dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, which is planned to spin off from Honeywell in October 2024. We intend for this role to be part of the future transaction when the separation occurs.
You Must Have:
- Manufacturing Experience: You should have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Driver's License: You must hold a valid driver's license.

- Extrusion Experience: Prior experience with extrusion lines and machines is desirable.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in SAP transactions and Optivisio is preferred.
