As a Machinist - Level 3 at Honeywell, you play a crucial role in machining processes ensuring high-quality parts production. You report directly to our Machine Shop Manager and work out of our Geismar, LA location.
In this role, you impact efficiency, productivity, and quality by operating and setting up machines, interpreting blueprints and specifications, and conducting quality inspections.
- Operate and set up machines for precision component fabrication
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for machining operations
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues for production flow maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for machining process optimization and efficiency improvement
We value associate's degree in Machining or related field experience, CNC machining knowledge, programming and operating CNC machines skills, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, and effective communication and teamwork skills.

You must be a U.S. citizen, have a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 years of experience as a Machinist or similar role, proficiency in operating and setting up machines, strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques, ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
