Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements.
Innovate high-purity, high-performance chemicals and materials
Provide Quality Control Inspection support for Honeywell Performance Materials and Technology while partnering with manufacturing teams and leaders. You will ensure that quality in being maintained in all factors involved in production. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Perform product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
Be part of the Quality Control team that provides their expertise and ensures that the customer receives products that meet their expectations.
Drive continuous improvements in support of Honeywell Quality Control Inspection and Honeywell Operating System
Recommend and implement improvements that help deliver the best timely solutions resulting in the highest level of customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Perform inspections
- Test parts and raw materials
- Monitor and verify quality
- Record observations
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years lab experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
- 12 Hrs. of Chemistry
WE VALUE
- Experience in quality testing
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to use tools and techniques to perform tests
- Ability to read technical data and specifications
- Instrumental skills, such as GCMS, ICP, IC
- Basic wet chemistry skills
- LIMS use
