Sr. Advanced Quality Engineer
As a Sr. Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our Quality Management System (QMS). You will be responsible for implementing the QMS strategy, maintaining and improving our QMS work processes, and ensuring compliance with our quality processes, standards, and procedures. Your expertise will be valuable for establishing quality metrics and driving the development of new quality procedures and work processes across disciplines, including engineering, project management, and commercial sales, to drive continuous improvement across the team in support of business objectives.
Your expertise in quality management systems and attention to detail will be instrumental in driving compliance and alignment across the LNG functional teams to ensure that our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality.
You will report directly to our Director, Project & Quality and you'll work out of our Allentown, PA location on a hybrid work schedule after 90 days.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the quality and compliance of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System in alignment with business objectives
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Drive corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities
- Provide training and support to employees on quality processes and procedures
- Ensure maintenance of ISO 9001 and other required certifications
- Support development of Quality procedures and work processes across disciplines
- Establish and report out Quality metrics, including tracking of associated root cause analyses, corrections, and improvement initiatives
- Own Management of Change (MOC) system
- Support knowledge architecture of business disciplines (e.g., document creation, revision, and storage, intellectual property protection)
