Sr Industrial Maintenance Controls Technician
As a Sr. Industrial Maintenance Controls Technician here at
Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient
operation of controls systems in our industrial facilities. You will be
responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing controls, electrical
equipment, mechanical, and systems, as well as troubleshooting issues to
minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our plant
equipment, ensuring that they meet the highest safety and quality standards.
You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to support the
production process and contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Schedule: Night shift 2/2/3
Hours: 7pm-7am
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems,
which includes tasks like troubleshooting malfunctions, performing preventative
maintenance, calibrating equipment, and ensuring proper operation of automated
machinery by working with sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, controllers, and related components, often
utilizing knowledge of PLC programming and electrical schematics to diagnose
and resolve issues; they may also collaborate with engineers to implement
system upgrades or modifications.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical
systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues
before they cause disruptions.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment problems and implement effective solutions to
minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe and efficient operation
of electrical systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working
environment.
Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (“PIP®”), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. The intent of this role, dedicated to the PPE business, will be part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
