Sr Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician
As a Sr. Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our industrial facility. You will be installing, repairing, and maintaining complex industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting, ensuring equipment functions properly through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting breakdowns by diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize production downtime; tasks include inspecting equipment, adjusting calibrations, replacing parts, fabrication, and following safety protocols to maintain a clean and operational work area.
You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to
support the production process and contribute to the overall success of our
operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, fabricate and repair
mechanical systems including but not limited to: air compressors, pumps,
motors, boilers, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, air cylinders,
switches, tanks, vessels, pipes and valves.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues
before they cause disruptions.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment problems and implement effective solutions to
minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe and efficient operation
of electrical systems.
• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints for both
fabrication and troubleshooting.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair
activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working
environment.
Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc.
(“PIP®”), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, we
anticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject to
customary closing conditions. The intent of this role, dedicated to the PPE
business, will be part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
