In this role, you will serve as Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property based in Atlanta, Georgia. HCE is focused on SaaS solutions for our customers in the aerospace, industrials, buildings, cybersecurity, worker, and supply chain industries to recognize and drive efficiencies that provide value to our customers. This role is essential to help protect the business’ key differentiators that provide our competitive advantages.
Core Job Duties:
- Manage and negotiate the intellectual property terms of technology transactions across a range of deal structures including joint ventures, commercial sales agreements (including Software as a Service (SaaS) and software licensing), acquisitions and divestitures.
- Design and implement an intellectual property strategy to identify and protect new product offerings and the business roadmap.
Manage risk, compliance and disputes for the business including when bringing new products to market as part of the product development process, by providing advice on global intellectual property issues (in particular in relation to software, cloud and SaaS) and managing disputes and litigation.
